On November 14th the NARI of Idaho, held their annual awards banquet to recognize those in the remodeling industry that have served with excellence. Awards included recognition of suppliers/vendors, trade contractors and remodelers.

Winner for Remodeler of the Year in Category 1 ($0- $500,000) went to Haylett Homes of Boise.

Winner for Remodeler of the Year in Category 2 ($500,001- $1,000,000) went to Greg Fisher Construction of Star. Other nominees in this category were Gammill Construction and Rocky Mountain Restoration.

Winner for Remodeler of the Year in Category 3 (over $1,000,001) was Strite Design + Remodel. Other nominees in this category were Keilty Remodeling, Inc. and Stronghold Remodeling.

The award for the Supplier/Vendor of the Year went to Neef’s Carpet One of Boise. The other nominee in this category was Wood Windows Inc.

The award for Trade Contractor of the Year went to Neef’s Carpet One of Boise.

These awards are given based upon the rankings of their past customers in areas including professionalism, integrity, fairness, workmanship and overall job performance. They are given by the NARI of Idaho in recognition of the quality of remodelers, trade contractors and suppliers that are in the Treasure Valley.

NARI of Idaho also gave an award away for Most Valuable Member. This category is based on the member’s involvement in the association. This year’s award went to Jim Strite of Strite Design + Remodel of Boise.

One other recognition given was the NARI of Idaho Photo Awards. Winners of these awards included:

Residential Kitchen under $45,000- Gammill Construction
Residential Kitchen Over $45,000 – Strite Design + Remodel
Residential Bath under $20,000- Strite Design + Remodel
Residential Bath between $20,000 & $40,000- Hayes ‘n’ Hayes Construction
Residential Bath over $40,000- Stronghold Remodeling
Residential Interior- Keilty Remodeling, Inc.
Residential Exterior over $75,000- Strite Design + Remodel
Residential Specialty- Haylett Homes
Entire House – Strite Design + Remodel
Commercial Specialty- Wood Windows, Inc.

Residential Historical Renovation/Restoration- Renaissance Remodeling The NARI of Idaho is a state chapter of the National Association of Remodeling Industries (NARI) and has over 110 members in the Treasure Valley area. Businesses must meet ethical business practice standards at all times to remain a member. The chapter is active in providing professional education and training, providing certification for remodelers and carpenters and is involved in the promotion of legislation that furthers the professional standards of the industry.
